Tangsibi Lhakhang
Overview
The temple is a huge stone house three storeys high just below the highway. The Treasure discoverer Sherab Mebar, who was born Kham, Eastern Tibet, visited Bhutan from Singye Dzong in the East to western Bhutan where he died in Paro. In Ura Tangsibi he is to have settled at Tashiling. The temple was restored in the 1980s by Dasho Karma Gelek The temple, a private property, is looked after by a lay practitioner. The festival of Tangsibi Mani takes place here with thousands of Gathering.
